Schedule
- Night shift
- 10 hours per day
- 40 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Required Skills
- Patient identification and order verification
- MRI examination procedures
- Cross-sectional anatomy and anatomical positioning
- Contrast administration under supervision
- Infection control and sterile technique
- MRI equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Electronic imaging, including viewing, transferring, archiving, and manipulating images
- MRI safety procedures, including the FOUR ZONE concept and quench procedures
- Documentation, coding, charging, consents, and quality reporting
Post-Hire Expectations
- Meet departmental IV certification competency within 3 months of hire
- Complete the controlled substance module within 6 months of hire, where applicable
- Complete the initial moderate sedation module within 6 months of hire, where applicable
