Mammography Tech
Overview
- Travel/contract role in San Mateo, California
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, 5x8 hours
- Schedule includes Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation as needed
Role Summary
- Performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images
- Works independently using sound judgment and clinical skills
- Communicates effectively with patients, families/support groups, and other healthcare providers
- May orient other staff to the department
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in California
- Mammography Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Shift times listed: 6:30–14:30 or 10:30–18:30
Additional Notes
- Background check and other pre-start compliance items are required
- Unit-specific skills checklist is required
- Full 7-year work history must be included in the application
