6CD - Med Surg Cardiac RN

Overview

• Role: Med Surg Cardiac RN
• Location: Fargo, North Dakota
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day/night rotate
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Unit: 6CD, a 32-bed unit
• Float scope: May float to any med/surg unit at any of the 3 Sanford Medical Centers in Fargo
• Patient ratio: 4-5:1 on day shift; 5-6:1 on night shift

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of recent MS experience
• Active ND or Compact RN license
• BLS certification from AHA
• NIHSS certification, or willingness to obtain it before start
• Experience in a large hospital setting with 250+ beds
• Experience with EPIC

Preferred

• Cardiac experience

Job Duties

• Assessments

Additional Notes

• Travelers within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Travelers living 60 to 80 miles from the facility are subject to a reduced local travel rate
• Clinicians must badge in and out
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• If previously worked for Sanford Health, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
