Registered Nurse — Medical Surgical

Overview

Travel assignment in Mayfield, Kentucky
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Weekly orientation on Mondays
Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
CPI or HWC or MAB
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Work Setting

Med/Surg unit
Every other weekend or as needed
Call as needed
May float to like units as needed
Patient ratio up to 1:6 with PCA assistance

57-bed unit
Serves all ages
Common patient populations include COPD, post-op joints, and diabetic patients

Additional Notes

Scrubs may be any color except branded attire from other facilities
