RN - PCU
Overview
- Travel RN position in Johnstown, Pennsylvania
- Specialty: Telemetry/PCU - Cardiac
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Weekly hours: 36
- Shift flexibility required: days, nights, and mids
- Weekend coverage: every other weekend, depending on unit needs
- Call: none
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Cardiac Catheterization experience
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience
Additional Notes
- Travelers may start with some items pending
- No RTO for auto-offer consideration
- Not normally floated; may float to 1:1s depending on needs
- Orientation is weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater away to be considered travel
- Patient population includes cardiac geriatric patients
- Common diagnoses/treatments include CP, MI, open heart, Watchmen, TAVR, postop cardiac cath, and postop pacer
- Equipment includes pacer A-lines
- Scrub color: any
- Unacceptable attire includes hoodies
- Piercings allowed: only nose studs
