    Description

    MRI Tech

    Overview

    • Travel/contract role in San Francisco, California
    • Works across multiple imaging locations within the CPMC imaging network
    • Floating is required as needed
    • On-call is optional, not required
    • Shift: 3x12s, with start times varying between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM
    • Usually includes one Saturday and one Sunday per month
    • 36 hours per week
    • Contract length: 13 weeks

    Required Qualifications

    • MRI Technologist (3 years of experience)
    • MRI Technologist experience within the last year
    • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • ARMRIT or ARRT (MR)
    • ARRT (R)

    Work Setting

    • High-volume, multi-site MRI practice
    • Performs routine and specialized MRI procedures
    • Exam types include cardiac, body, musculoskeletal, neuro, breast, pelvic, interventional, prostate imaging, and MRI-guided breast biopsy
    • Must be comfortable working across multiple patient populations and maintaining strong MRI safety practices

    Additional Notes

    • Shuttle transportation is available between campuses
    • MRI equipment includes multiple 3T systems and a 1.5T outpatient system
    • All MRI equipment is manufactured by GE HealthCare
