Description
Occupational Therapist
Location
- St George, Utah
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Day shift
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Rotating schedule
- May include weekend rotations
- No on-call
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Utah
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Master's degree in occupational therapy
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous inpatient rehab experience
- Certified Occupational Therapist through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients
- Provide treatment based on the plan of care
- Educate and train patients and caregivers
- Document patient status, progress, discharge summaries, and follow-up plans
- Record charges according to billing guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical meetings
- Support team collaboration and supervise/training responsibilities as assigned
