Floating

• May be asked to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of the original assignment, based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee.
• Med Surg experience within the last year, with 1 year of experience.
• BLS certification, AHA.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Ascension Resume.
• Ascension Profile.
• Ascension 2 Professional References: at least two professional references completed prior to first assignment.
• Ascension Skills Checklist.
• License/Certificate Verification: current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start.
• Medical Surgical Exam: minimum score of 80%.
• Color Vision.
• Core Competencies: minimum score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score.
• EKG Exam: passing score of at least 80%.
• Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation.
• Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding.
• Nova StatStrip.
• Cerner Test-Out.
• Badge Photo.
• COVID-19 Vaccine.
• MMR.
• Fit Test.
• Hepatitis B.

Notes

• Ascension Medical Surgical Exam, Core Competencies, and EKG Exam each allow only 2 attempts.
• Fit Test may be completed onsite; PAPR will not be completed onsite.
• Influenza Vaccine exemptions/declinations are accepted, but a mask must be worn at all times.
• Tdap must be valid for 10 years from the administered date, with no declinations or attestations accepted.
• Health Statement must be a statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
