RRT - Respiratory Therapy
Overview
- Travel assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Tennessee
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- NBRC RRT or NBRC CRT
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Intubation experience
Role Summary
- Provide cardiopulmonary services as a registered or certified Respiratory Therapist
- Follow approved protocols and department policies to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
- Maintain airways and manage ventilators
- Perform insertion of arterial lines, intubations, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases
