CVOR Tech

Overview

• Travel contract in Washington, Silverdale.
• 13-week assignment.
• Day shift, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• 2 full years of CVOR Tech experience.
• Active BLS.
• WA License; pending license needed to submit.
• Driver’s license required at time of submittal.

Assignment Details

• Based in CVOR.
• Main OR has 7 suites.
• 22–45 cases per day across all three specialties.
• Level 3 trauma.
• No neuro.
• Inpatient and outpatient cases.
• 35–40% are add-ons.
• Charge nurse on every shift covers both Main and CVOR.
• Resource nurse for CVOR.
• Call requirement: 5–6 call days for techs.
• Call starts at 9PM and ends at 0630 the next morning.
• Weekend call: 1 = 12 hour days, 2 = 12 hour nights.
• Call response time: 30 min.
• Holidays covered by rotation.
• Shifts may include Monday through Friday 8s, 10s, and 12s with varied start times.
• Manager may consider 4/10s (0630-1700) or 5/8s (0715-1500), weekday, weekend, and possible holiday call.
• Floor orientation is 1 week.
• Scrub color is provided.
• Housing can be difficult.

Floating

• CVOR may float to Main.
• Main OR nurses may float for vascular cases if they have experience.
