Nuclear Medicine & CT Tech

Overview

  • Travel/contract assignment in New Brunswick, New Jersey
  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Work setting: Adult, Outpatient
  • Daily volume: approximately 6–8 cases per tech per day
  • Floating: must float within skillset without exception
  • Charting system: EPIC
  • Accepts first-time travelers
  • Accepts locals at the same rate
  • Pending New Jersey license accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in New Jersey
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ARRT (N) or CNMT
  • ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
  • ARRT (N)(CT)
  • Nuclear cardiology experience

Clinical Skills

  • Pulmonary: Lung Scan, Perfusion, Ventilation/Perfusion
  • Myocardial: Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Exercise/Rest-Single, Pharmacological Stress
  • Bone/Renal: Bone Scan 3 Phase, Limited, Whole Body; Renal Flow: Captopril
  • GI/Thyroid/Liver: Gastric Emptying, I-123 Uptake Scan, Uptake Scan, Liver Imaging
  • SPECT: Bone, Thyroid, Cardiac Imaging
