Telemetry

Overview

Travel/Contract RN assignment in Florence, Kentucky
13-week contract
Night shift: 19:00–07:30, 3x12
Potential block scheduling, not guaranteed
Floating may include Observation Units, MS, and MS Tele units across Edgewood and Florence campuses
The role supports ED boarders and may float to observation units if there are not enough boarders

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Telemetry (1.5 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with pre-cardiac catheterization patient care
Experience managing ports
Experience with Epic

Schedule Details

4 weekend shifts in a 6-week period: 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays
3 Mondays and 3 Fridays in a 6-week period
No RTO from 12/15/2026 to 1/5/2027
Start date must be 10/5 or 10/12

COVID vaccination or medical/religious exemption
Flu vaccination or exemption
Negative TB or chest X-ray
Tdap within 10 years
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Physical exam within 12 months
Fit mask test within 12 months of start
Two clinical references within 2 years

Additional Notes

Travel partners are not allowed
Navy blue scrubs
No cafeteria available; refrigerator and microwave provided on-site
Free parking in any unrestricted space
Agency or brand logos are not allowed on scrubs/apparel
