ER RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
• Shift: Night, 4x12 hours
• Hours per week: 48
• Contract length: 20 weeks
• Setting: Busy Level 2 Trauma Center with a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• 1 year or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

• Not accepting local candidates
• 2-step PPD and flu vaccine required; no exemptions
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start
• Proof of state residency required for compact license holders
• Driver’s license or state ID required
• E-Verify documentation required
• Background check required
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required

• NIH Stroke Certification may be completed onsite if needed
• Flu vaccine onsite dates are offered by the client
