Description
RN Emergency Room
Overview
- 13-week travel assignment in West Burlington, Iowa
- Evening shift: 15:00 - 03:30
- May occasionally be placed on call during low census and must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in
Role Details
- Emergency Room RN responsible for assessing patient needs, triaging safely and rapidly, and providing direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting
- Traveler must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during orientation to work in the Emergency Department
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS
- ACLS
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- CPI/MOAB
- Experience with Epic
