ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Ontario, Ohio
• Part time
• Starts in November
• Night shift: 2x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 24 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Typical staffing ratio: 3:1

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
• Willingness to float to other campuses ICU units if census drops to maintain hours
• Every other weekend required
• Must make up all missed shifts
• If on-call, must return to the facility within 1 hour
• Knowledge of medication scanning
• RN license verification required
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs
