Cardiovascular Invasive Rad Tech 2
Overview
- Location: Peoria, Illinois
- Schedule: Days, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Assists cardiologists with invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiologic procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation.
- Works in the Cath Lab and supports patient care during coronary invasive procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist (3 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
- IEMA License in Rad Technology
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT Registration in Radiology
- Associate's degree in a related field or certificate of completion for a radiology program
- Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and physiology, and the purpose and operation of equipment and supplies inherent in cardiac/vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Knowledge and competency in moderate sedation administration and policy protocol
- Knowledge of EP concepts, theory, and the fluoroscopic anatomy and physiology involved in diagnostic and interventional EP procedures
- Ability to recognize and assist in treatment of any complication arising from cardiac/vascular/EP diagnostic and interventional procedures
