RN-Intensive Care Unit - Pediatrics
Overview
- Location: Chapel Hill, North Carolina
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 36 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Assignment note: This role supports a shared staffing model between the Pediatric Cardiac ICU (PCICU) and the Pediatric ICU (PICU), and flexibility to work between both areas is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Pediatrics CVICU experience within the last year
- 1 year of Pediatrics CVICU experience
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
Role Focus
- Provides competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
- Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
- Cares for patients with complex problems in an intensive care unit pediatrics setting
