CRT NICU

Job Overview

Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
On-call: Not required
Floating: May float within scope depending on experience; no floating to sister facilities
First-time travelers: Accepted
Locals: Accepted on a case-by-case basis
Radius rule: 60 miles

Required Qualifications

Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (2 years of experience)
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Infant patients

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

Proof of 2 clinical references
Complete application/resume with PTO, contract assignments, agency names, and no unaccounted gaps
Annual background check covering the past 7 years
Education verification
Primary source verification of license/certification
Nursys verification, as applicable
Annual skills checklist, as applicable
Annual physical exam
Fit test within 90 days before start, then annually
Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
Annual TB questionnaire
Drug screen within 90 days of start
COVID vaccination documentation or declination
Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption during flu season
State exclusion list clearance
Color blind testing
Competency exam
Medication/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
Orientation modules must be completed before start

Additional Notes

RTO must be submitted at time of application
Facility may cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks
Parking requires a one-time $20 pass for nights and weekends
