Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN position in Columbus, Ohio.
• Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30.
• May float to a unit with similar acuity.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Post Partum (2 years of experience).
• Post Partum experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• IV certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Antepartum experience.
• Labor and Delivery experience.
• Experience with Epic.
• 2 professional references, with at least 1 from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience.

Certifications and Compliance

• BLS required.
• NRP required for Post-Partum.
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement required annually.
• Unit-specific competency exam required.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required prior to start.
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required within 1 year of start and updated annually, unless excluded by unit policy.
• Ohio State – Variable Schedule Attestation for OR is required only for OR employees; not listed as a requirement for this role.

Health and Screening Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start.
• Tdap required.
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella requirements apply unless remote.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start.
• Flu vaccine or declination required during flu season.
• COVID vaccination is not required but recommended.
