RN-Labor Delivery Operating Room

Overview

• Clinical nursing role in Raleigh, North Carolina.
• 13-week contract.
• Day shift, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week.
• Free parking.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience).
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring issued by AWHONN or GE.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Experience in a Procedural Area setting.
• Ability to circulate for C-sections.
• Ability to triage for OB.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current and active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring completed through AWHONN or GE at time of submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required.
• Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Support unit goals, performance improvement activities, and communication systems.
