Behavioral Health RN
Overview
- Travel assignment in Hickory, North Carolina
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week

- Adult behavioral health unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Psychiatric (2 years of experience)
- Psychiatric experience within the last year
- BLS
- CPI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- 5 units with bed counts of 23, 20, 15, 13, and 10
- Patient population includes adults
- Common diagnoses/treatments include schizophrenia, dementia, manic bipolar disorder, psychosis, dual diagnosis, medical detox, depression, and anxiety disorders
Preferred
- Handle with Care certification if possible
Additional Notes
- Any color scrub
- Cerner EHR familiarity is listed in the source
- Travelers must start on one of the listed orientation dates in 2026
- Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered travel
