RN - Emergency Dept
Overview
- Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
- 12-week contract
- Shift: 7P–7A
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Call: none
- Openings: 1
- Unit has 17 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Average volume: 40 visits/day
- Patient population: all ages
- Facility department/cost center: 780
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Iowa SING BG clearance required, including criminal and child abuse portions
- All county and state background checks must be fully cleared before start; no instant or statewide searches accepted
- Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult
- 10-panel drug test including opiates
- Titers from the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- NIHSS
Preferred
- Travel experience
- 2+ years in acute care
