Step Down Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Middletown, Ohio
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract option also mentions an 18-week winter contract option
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
• First to float at the employer’s discretion, including to medically appropriate assignments outside the specialty cluster

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Stepdown (1 year of experience)
• Stepdown experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Contract Details

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Winter contract option: 18 weeks

Additional Notes

• License does not need to be in hand at application, but must be obtained before the contract starts
• May be assigned to support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including High Risk Respiratory Unit/COVID
• The employer may cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
• The agreement may be canceled with 2 weeks’ notice without fee or fine
