RN Orthopedic Surgery
Role Overview
- Travel RN assignment in Paris, Texas
- Orthopedic in-patient unit
- 1 opening
- 7P–7A shift
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Float requirements: yes
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- PALS
- Orthopedics (2 years of experience)
- Orthopedics experience within the last year
- Orthopedic Surgery experience
- Med Surg experience
Preferred
- Ortho experience
Unit Details
- 18 beds
- Patient ratio: 5:1
- Equipment: Traction
- Patient population: adult and pediatric ortho
- Common diagnosis/treatment: fx
Additional Notes
- Orientation is weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater away to be considered travel
- Housing options mentioned: Airbnb’s and Hampton Inn (at additional cost)
