Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington
• 13-week assignment
• 3x12 rotating shifts; cannot do straight days or nights
• Ratios: 1:1, 2:1
• Every other weekend
• On-call: potential
• Locals accepted
• Guaranteed hours

Role Details

• NICU RN
• Exposure to floating to PICU/CICU/acute care floors is highly preferred
• Floating required as needed to other ICU environments, within scope
• First-timers accepted, with the stated experience conditions below
• Must work 2 out of 3 holiday blocks over the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s period

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• 2 or more completed travel assignments
• Experience working with NICU Level 4 patients
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience working with PICU patients
• Experience with telemetry
• Experience with ventilator management
• Experience with fluid management
• Experience with fresh tracheostomies
• Experience with therapeutic hypothermia
• Experience with modes of ventilation
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Float experience
• Experience in a Level IV NICU with Level IV patients
• For first-time travelers: 3-4 years in a Level IV NICU and float experience, or 1-2 Level IV travel assignments minimum if under 3-4 years of experience
