Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana.
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
- 1 year of experience in ED - Emergency Department.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- NIHSS.
- DCI/BVP.
- Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Positive PPD with negative chest X-ray is optional.
Additional Onboarding Notes
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS must be American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- License/certification verification must be primary source verified within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration.
- COVID-19 vaccination requires 2 vaccines and booster, or declination completed.
- MMR requires proof of 2 vaccines or a positive titer showing immunity.
- Hepatitis B accepts 3 immunizations, immune titer, or declination.
- Influenza vaccine or declination is required for November 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027.
- Physical/Health Statement is annual, except it must be completed within 60 days of start for Saint Marys Regional Medical Center - Nevada.
- Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam, Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening, Prime Core Competencies Exam, and Prime Specialty Exam can be completed using Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or similar.
- Prime Color-blind test must be completed annually.
- Prime Criminal Background Check is a national check within one year of start.
- Prime Badge Photo must be a JPEG clear headshot with a solid plain background.
- Prime Job Description must be current, signed by the employee, and from within the year.
- Prime Orientation Packet includes the “Essentials” Form and Post Test.
- Prime Education Verification accepts a copy of diploma or transcripts if third-party verification is not available.
