Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Location: Soldotna, Alaska
- Assignment length: 16 weeks
- Schedule: Days; Tue-Fri, 7:00am-4:30pm
- Hours: 36 per week
- Unit size: 4-6 rooms
- Dress code: Scrubs
Role summary
Provides technical support during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures, including scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties, holding area support, and patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT or RCIS or CVT
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Graduation from an approved school of radiologic technology
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years in combination cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab
- ARRT with Advanced Level Certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
Schedule Notes
- Call is required
- Some weekends may be required
Unit Notes
- EPIC is used in the unit
- Floating to other units/departments is not identified at this time
- New service line with orientation provided on the first day onsite plus department/service-specific orientation
