Location

• Sandy, Utah

Contract

• 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• 10-hour shifts
• Days/Mids swing shift
• On-call required

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist (1 year of experience)
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS
• ARRT(MR) or ARRT(R) or ARMRIT
• Experience with IV contrast injection

Post-Hire Expectations

• Must meet departmental IV certification competency within 3 months of hire
• Must complete the controlled substance module within 6 months of hire, where applicable
• Must complete the initial moderate sedation module within 6 months of hire, where applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of MRI Tech hospital experience
• 6-12 months of acute care experience
• Level 2 Trauma Center experience
• MR registered by ARRT

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations per department protocol
• Select proper scanning techniques and protocols in coordination with the radiologist
• Administer intravenous contrast material as ordered and under supervision
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems
• View, transfer, archive, and manipulate images
• Troubleshoot the MRI scanner and understand shutdown and startup procedures
• Follow MRI safety policy and the FOUR ZONE concept
• Complete required documentation, including time stamps and image storage
