Respiratory Care

Location: Everett, Massachusetts

Role

Respiratory Care

Schedule

12-hour shifts
Primarily nights
Some evening rotation
On-call
Rotating weekends and holidays
No block scheduling
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
NBRC
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Driver's License
Airway and ventilator management experience
Ability to draw, analyze and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Experience with intubation

Preferred

NRP certification
EPIC experience

Other Important Details

Meditech is used for receiving blood gas orders; experience is not required
Airway and ventilator management experience required
Blood gas draw, analyze, and interpret required
Intubation experience
Must work every other major holiday
The RRT will work independently on the shift
Flu vaccine required during season
RTO must be included at time of submission and is not guaranteed after confirmation
Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted; local rate applies
