Description
RN - IMC
Location: Golden, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night 12, three 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) per week Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week Weekends: Yes
Role Summary
- Performs independent and delegated nursing functions under state Board of Nursing practice standards.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, including health status assessment, health teaching, and health counseling.
- Provides therapy and treatment, refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
- Documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.
- May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in Colorado.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing.
- PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience of 2+ years, with experience within the last year.
- Mixed Acuity (Med/Ortho/Stepdown) experience of 2+ years.
- Orthopedics experience.
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- NIHSS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- TNCC.
