Overview

• Travel RN position in Winchester, Tennessee
• 13-week contract
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 1 opening
• Weekly orientation on Mondays
• Candidates must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel

Unit / Setting

• OB department on the 3rd floor
• Level 2 NICU
• 4 labor rooms, 9 postpartum beds, and 4 NICU beds
• Float scope: Postpartum / Well Baby Nursery

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• Experience working with NICU Level 2 patients
• ACLS
• BLS
• NRP
• STABLE

Preferred

• Minimum 2 years of level 2 or higher NICU experience
• Well newborn nursery experience

Shift / Schedule

• Shift details not specified
• Every 3rd weekend / as needed
• No call requirements

Clinical Details

• Patient population: laboring/postpartum moms and newborns
• Common diagnoses/treatments: respiratory distress, hypoglycemia
• Equipment: CPAP, vent, UVC, IV
• Patient ratio: 3:1 NICU
