LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel assignment in St. Petersburg, Florida
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Long Term Acute Care (2 years of experience)
- Long Term Acute Care experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with ventilator management
- Experience with tracheostomy care
- Experience with PICC lines
Preferred Qualifications
- Wound care experience
Role Details
- The role is an LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse
- Provides patient care using the Nursing Process and follows state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
- Holds shift accountability for care delivery
- Uses critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to anticipate and plan safe care
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
- Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
