NICU RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Voorhees, New Jersey.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 36 hours per week.
• Every weekend required, plus 1 day during the week.
• Floating required within 5 hospitals in skillset: Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL.
• No on-call.
• Block scheduling not allowed.
• Patient ratio: 1:2.
• Couplet care is practiced, and there is a Stork RN on each shift.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience).
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year.
• Experience working with NICU Level 3 patients.
• Experience with high frequency ventilation (HFOV).
• Experience managing extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants under 1000g.
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure.
• NURSYS verification required for RNs.
• New Jersey work history verification is required, with at least 1 year prior to the start date verified and only 30-day gaps or less.

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic experience.
• First-time traveler accepted, but not preferred.

Additional Notes

• RTO is due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted.
• Navy blue scrubs.
• Local rate applies for candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital.
