Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Recent clinical experience and proficiency in telemetry and rhythm interpretation, including recognition of common arrhythmias (A-fib, A-flutter, SVT, VT, PVCs, PACs) and identification of rate, rhythm, intervals, and clinical significance
Recent clinical experience initiating, titrating, monitoring, and documenting Amiodarone drips
Recent clinical experience initiating, titrating, monitoring, and documenting Cardizem (Diltiazem) drips
Recent clinical experience initiating, titrating, monitoring, and documenting Dobutamine drips
Recent clinical experience initiating, titrating, monitoring, and documenting Lasix drips
Recent clinical experience initiating, titrating, monitoring, and documenting Insulin drips
Recent clinical experience initiating, titrating, monitoring, and documenting Heparin drips
