Cath Lab RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Decatur, Illinois
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
13-week contract
1:2 days; 1:1 nights and weekends
Will work every third weekend
On-call required: one night each week and every 3rd weekend
Will float if needed
Block scheduling is accepted
Locals are accepted with no radius
First-timers are accepted only with significant cath lab experience

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Experience with ASD closures
Experience with cardiac implant closure devices
Experience with cardiac stent placement
Experience with diagnostic catheterizations in adults
Experience with IABP placement and removal
Experience with Impella insertion
Experience with interventional catheterizations
Experience with left heart catheterization
Experience with pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and removal
Experience with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
Experience with Cerner
