Interventional Radiology Tech / Cardiology
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Baltimore, Maryland
- 3-room Interventional Radiology department
- Serves adult and geriatric patients
- About 10 cases per day
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Maryland
- Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (R)
- Neuro interventional experience
- Experience with biopsies
- Experience with peripheral procedures
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience with stroke procedures
- Experience with kyphoplasty
- Experience with nephrogram procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching hospital experience
- Level I trauma experience
- ARRT-VI
- Fluoroscopy permit
- Siemens experience
- Cerner experience
Schedule and Call
- No regular weekend requirement is specified
- Weekend call is required
- Weekday backup call is 5pm to 7am, Monday through Friday
- Weekends may be primary or backup call, from 7am Saturday to 7am Sunday
- Holidays are 7am to 7am if needed
Floating
- Floats as needed within scope
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- The role wears any color scrubs
- RTO of 14 days or less is auto-approved
- Every other winter and summer holiday are required, with no RTO approved
- No RTO on hard-to-fill days such as Easter, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day
