RN 2 - BMC ED

Role Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED)
Night shift
12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC or TNS or TCRN
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for assigned patients using the nursing process
Complete patient assessments and develop care plans
Implement and modify nursing interventions and care plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation
Support patient and staff safety by reporting or correcting safety hazards
Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, families, and providers
Provide constructive feedback to peers and support professional development
