RN UP - Med/Surg 6C
Role
- Staff Registered Nurse (RN) on Med/Surg 6C
Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Day shift, 7am-7:30pm
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Med Surg (3 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Education

Core Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care using the nursing process
- Completes initial patient assessments and develops plans of care
- Implements and modifies nursing interventions and patient care procedures
- Maintains accurate nursing documentation
- Reports and/or corrects safety hazards and incidents
- Communicates directly and privately when needed to resolve issues
- Supports peer development and professional growth
- Identifies personal learning needs and takes initiative to address them
- Meets departmental competency requirements
