Description
RN - Rehab
Employment type: Travel Location: South Miami, Florida Setting: 62-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital (1st floor unit) Contract length: 12 weeks
Role Details
- Role and specialty listed in unit profile: CNA. This conflicts with the RN title and specialty, so verify the intended role before presenting it.
- Openings: 1
- Shift: 7 AM to 7:30 PM or 7 PM to 7:30 AM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend hours: Monday to Friday, every other weekend rotation
- Call requirements: No
- Float requirements: No. Nursing units consist of 2 floors, and the candidate will be scheduled on either floor.
- Patient ratios: 6-7:1 RN/LPN; CNA 10:1
- Patient population: Adults, geriatric, and rehab patients
- Common diagnoses/treatment: Neuro, ortho, cancer
- Programs: Neurological rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation, amputation, and orthopedics
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- At least 2 years of rehabilitation experience, with rehabilitation experience within the last year (no new grads)
- Experience in an inpatient rehab setting
- Med-Surg experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Cerner EHR
Software Familiarity
- Cerner EHR (source states "must have Cerner experience")
- Omnicell
