Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Employment Details

Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Monday to Friday with call from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
On-Call: Yes
Weekend Requirement: As needed
Local Candidates: Not accepted (100-mile radius rule)
Pending License: Not accepted (must comply with NLC guidelines)
RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at the time of submission

Years of Experience Required: 2 years
First-Timers Accepted: No

Special Requirements

Driver’s license must be included with submission.

Hospital Highlights

Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center

Certifications Required

ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or ARC only)
BLS: Basic Life Support (AHA or ARC only)
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA or ARC only, required for specific units)
NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (AAP only, required for specific units)
TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (preferred for ER)
EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (required for L&D within 2 years)
NIH Stroke Certification: Required for all RNs (except Le Bonheur Children's Hospital)

Health Documents Required

Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start, expires annually.
Fit Mask: 3M N-95 fit test required, must pass prior to start.
Vaccinations:
- Flu Vaccine (2024-2025) required prior to start.
- COVID-19 vaccinations preferred, not required.
- Proof of immunizations for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella.

Background and History Checks

Background Check: Required within 60 days of start.
References: Two recent professional references required.
Education Verification: Required, diploma/transcript not accepted in lieu.

Additional Information

Dress Code: Specific scrub colors required for different roles.
Photo Badge: Must be submitted by a specified deadline with strict guidelines.
