Job Opportunity: MRI Tech - Radiology/Cardiology

Employment Details

• Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years (3 years if no travel experience)
• Weekend Requirements: As needed
• Local Radius Rule: 100 miles (locals not accepted)
• Pending License: Not accepted; all travelers must comply with NLC guidelines
• RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at the time of submission

Job Description

• Proficient in operating GE MRI systems.
• Driver’s license must be included with submission.

Certifications Required

• ARRT Certification: Required for MRI Techs.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required for various departments including ER, Peds ER, Tele, ICU, etc.
• BLS (Basic Life Support): Required for all candidates except specific roles.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Required for certain pediatric roles.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure): Required for specific neonatal roles.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course): Preferred for ER roles.
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring): Required for L&D within 2 years of start.
• Tech Certification Verification: National certification required for various tech roles.

Health Documents Required

• Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start, expires annually.
• Fit Mask Test: 3M N-95 Masks only, must pass prior to start.
• Vaccinations:

  • Tdap (only for candidates going to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital)
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (within 1 year of start)
  • Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (proof of vaccinations or positive titers required)
  • Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Test within 30 days of start date.
  • Flu Vaccine: Required prior to start (October 1 – March 31).
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Preferred, not required.

Background and History Checks

• Background Check: Required within 60 days of start.
• References: Two recent professional references required.
• Education Verification: Required; diploma/transcript not accepted in lieu.
