Location
- City: Omaha, Nebraska
- Facility: Health Immanuel
Contract Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Radius Rule: Candidates must be within 50 miles and cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
Required Certifications

- BLS
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
- ARRT
- Nebraska License
Department Information
- Department: Cath Lab Tech/IR Tech
- Number of Suites/Labs: 3
- Average Cases per Day: 4-5
- Common Diagnoses/Types of Patients:
- Compression FX
- Venous Access
- Hydronephrosis
- Chest Pain

Job Duties
- Intra-procedural circulating
- Supplies/medication administration
- Sedation
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a hospital-setting Cardiac Cath/IR
Equipment and EMR
- EMR: EPIC/Apollo cardiac charting
Schedule and Call Requirements
- Cardiologist Hours/On Call: 0700-1600 M-F; On Call 1600-0700 S/S; 0730-0730 weekends
- Minimum Shifts Required:
- Weeknight/Call: 10 shifts
- Weekend: 2 weekends (1 IR and 1 Cardiac)
- Holiday/Call Requirements: Yes
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes from IMC, ASAP to LKS/MCB/Bergan
- Floating Requirements: Yes, daily and on-call as needed
Additional Information
- Dress Code: Surgical greens
- Orientation: 1 week, including on-call buddy call
- Notes: The lab is versatile, primarily performing IR with Cardiac inpatient add-ons, and is prepared for STEMIs to treat up to IABP to stabilize.
Time Off
- RTO needed upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved after submissions.
