Job Description
CVHCare is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist. New graduates are welcome to apply. Home health experience is preferred but not required.
Assigned Territory
- Area #2: Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany, Emeryville, Piedmont
- Area #8: Richmond, Rodeo, El Cerrito, El Sobrante, Hercules, Pinole, San Pablo, Crockett, Kensington
Work Options
Guaranteed Hours:
- Minimum productivity of 27 points per week.
- 36 hours guaranteed.
- Must complete 30 points in the week.
- Willingness to travel outside the area or work weekends is required.
- Guarantee does not apply for the first and last week of the assignment, during holidays, or if the traveler has time off.
Non-Guaranteed Hours:
- Weekend coverage may be required.
- May need to go outside the service area to secure a full caseload.
- Can refuse patients.
- No guaranteed hours.
- Must be willing to see Covid+ and Covid PUI patients.
Payment Structure
- Payment is made on a per-visit basis, with specific visit types converting to points and hours.
Points and Hours Conversion
- Routine, Eval, Discharge, and similar visits = 1 point = 1.33 hours.
- OASIS ReCertification and OASIS RoC = 1.5 points = 2 hours.
Credentials Required
- Current California Occupational Therapist License
- BLS Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Auto Insurance
- Auto Registration
- Annual TB Test
- MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (10 years), and Annual Flu Vaccination
- Drug Screen
- Physical Examination
Additional Information
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission.
- Compliance with agency contract standards is mandatory to avoid removal from the client’s vendor set.
