Position Details

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Experience in Labor and Delivery
• Ability to circulate C-sections and provide post-partum care
• May float to Med Surg as needed

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs: physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning.
• Review patient history and physical with patient/family, ensuring timely completion.
• Analyze diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and caregivers.
• Complete assessments and reassessments based on patient needs and policy guidelines.
• Formulate and initiate a comprehensive plan of care, including discharge planning, based on assessment data and input from patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Set realistic and measurable goals for patients in collaboration with them and their families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to plan and revise care based on patient evaluations.

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted, but must not reside in North Platte.
• On-call and holiday shifts may be required.
