Travel RN Opportunity – Cath Lab Tech

Location: Kingwood, Texas
Employment Type: Travel


Unit Information

  • Unit: Cath Lab
  • Beds: 4 Procedural Rooms, 14 Recovery Bays
  • Staffing:
    • Total Staff: 45
    • Day Shift: 3-4 staff per procedural room
    • Night Shift: On-call 4-person team
  • Patient Ratios: 3-4 staff per patient procedure
  • Equipment: Cath, EP IR, Neuro IR Lab
  • EMR System: MAC Lab

Required Skills

  • RN: Minimum 2 years current Cath Lab experience
  • Techs: Current experience with Cath Lab, IR, Peripherals, Neuro IR; EP experience is a plus

Preferred Skills

  • IR, EP, Neuro IR, Cardiac Intervention

  • Cardiac Cath R & L
  • IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
  • PTCA (Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty)
  • Thrombolytic Infusion
  • Pacemakers
  • Stents
  • IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound)
  • AngioJet
  • Atherectomy
  • Angiography
  • BiV Implants

  • IVC Filters
  • Coilings

Dress Code

  • Scrubs: Any color (provided by facility)
  • Shoes: Must be black, white, or gray

Unit Guidelines

  • Call required 2 nights per week and every other weekend

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks
