Physical Therapist Travel Position
Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Facility: San Juan Regional Medical Center
Hospital System: San Juan Regional Medical Center (Parent)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

- 198-bed, Level III trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites
- Serves the Four Corners region (New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah)
- Services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology, pediatrics, inpatient behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab testing
- Accredited with PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory certifications

- Located in the scenic San Juan River Valley with access to outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, golf, and national parks
Position Details
- Role: Physical Therapist (PT)
- Specialty: Adult Outpatient Rehabilitation
- Department: Rehabilitation Department / Physical Therapy Cost Center 2017
- Number of Openings: 1
- Shift: Days (7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed / 40 scheduled (overtime requires pre-approval)
- Breaks: Unpaid 30-minute lunch (12:30 pm – 1:00 pm)
- Days of Week: Monday through Friday (clinic hours 7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
- Call/Weekend: None required
- Patient Load: 10-14 scheduled patients per day
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner
- Dress Code: Dark gray (pewter) top and black pants; scrubs or polo/button-up; no jeans
- Vaccinations: All required vaccinations must be verified
Requirements
- Licensing: New Mexico State PT License (travelers can apply without NM license and obtain it during onboarding)
- Certifications: BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year required
- Preferred Experience: Outpatient experience preferred; skills in dry needling and manual therapy a plus
- Education: Must meet New Mexico State Licensing Board requirements
Additional Notes
- Mandatory meetings may occur; if during lunch break, timecard will be adjusted to paid time
- Time off and holidays to be determined
- Patient population primarily adults and teens
