Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia
Facility: Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center (HCA Healthcare)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
On-call after hours and weekends (minimum 12 calls)

Unit Information

Department: Cardiovascular Services (Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology)
Number of Beds: 4
Number of Staff: 7 (Registered Nurses & Radiologic Technologists)
Shifts:
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday
- Night Shift: Call only
Patient Ratios:
- 1:1 in Procedure Room
- 3-4 patients per 1-2 RNs in Holding Area
Interventional Suites: 3 (IR, CCL, EP)
Equipment: GE monitors, MERGE procedure documentation system
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills and Certifications

Must Have:

Cath Lab experience
RN to administer and recover conscious sedation
ACLS certification
STEMI call experience
Flexibility

Preferred:

Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
Electrophysiology (EP) experience

Required Certifications:

Virginia Nursing License
BLS & ACLS
