• Weekends: Required
• Call: Required, 1 shift per week
• Floating: Required
• Experience: Minimum 1.5 years
• License: Valid nursing license required

  • BCLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
• Skills:

  • Must be able to function independently
  • Non-smoker preferred
• Scheduling: Block scheduling allowed
• EMR System: Meditech
• Locals Allowed: No
• Radius Restriction: 100 miles
• First-time Travelers: Accepted
• Perm Candidate Rule: Must be separated from the facility for 365 days to be eligible for travel contract
• Unit Scrub Color: Any solid color

Required Documentation & Compliance

Identification & Verification

• Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• NURSYS verification (for RNs)
• State License primary source verification
• Employment application/resume
• Education verification

Background & Screening

• 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Criminal background check within 3 months of start (including education verification)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluation
• Hospital/internal evaluations if worked over 1 or 2 years respectively

Health & Immunizations

• Initial physical exam, updated annually
• Annual fit mask test prior to start
• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
• 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable); drug screen within 2 weeks of start including marijuana
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined)
• COVID-19 vaccination (fully vaccinated with 2 doses) or approved medical/religious exemption

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - ARC, AHA, or DoD accepted
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - ARC, AHA, or DoD accepted; AHA only for certain units (ICU, CCU, ER, OB, RRTs, L&D, Surgery, Respiratory)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - ARC, AHA, or DoD accepted; AHA only for ICU pediatric units
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - Required for L&D, OBGYN, Nursery
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as required
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - Required for Labor & Delivery
• CPI or MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) - Required for Behavioral Health

Competency Exams

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Core competency exams (Parts I, II, III) for subcontractors

COVID-19 Exemptions

• Medical and religious exemption forms available and require committee approval

• Vaccine declination forms available for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, TDAP, and COVID-19
