Description
MRI Tech Travel Position
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Overview
- 313-bed hospital with Level II Trauma Center and 24-hour emergency room
- Accredited Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
- Specialized services include Burn Clinic, Breast Care Center, and Robotic Surgery Institute
- Supportive management, strong teamwork culture, and good work-life balance
Unit Information
- Unit: MRI, located on the 1st floor of the main hospital building
- Number of Beds in Hospital: 321
- Trauma Level: Level 2 Trauma and Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center
- Equipment: GE 1.5T Signa, GE 3T Pioneer MRI machines
- Documentation System: Meditech
- On Call: Friday to Sunday, 8 PM to 7 AM every 4-5 weekends
- Schedule: Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
- Dress Code: Gray scrubs
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience required
- ARRT MRI certification required
- BLS certification required
- Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI experience preferred but not required
Procedures Performed
- MRI/MRA Brain, Abdomen, MRCP, Spine, Upper and Lower Extremity
- Cardiac, Breast, Orbit, Liver and Adrenal mass imaging
- IAC Brain, Brachial Plexus, Spectroscopy, MRA Neck, Soft tissue neck
