Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Facility: Amedisys - Little Rock
Job Details
- Specialty: Therapy / Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy)

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Weekend Rotation: None
- On-Call: No
- Patient Load: 5-6 patients per day
- Productivity Expectation: 30 points per week (points assigned based on visits and activities)
- Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic, approximately 300-400 miles per week
- Territory Covered: Pulaski, Faulkner, Jefferson, Grant, and Saline counties
- EMR System: HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 full year of recent adult Home Health experience
- First-Timers: Not accepted; must have recent Home Health experience
- Certifications: CPR and BLS required
- Licensure: Must have license in hand (pending licenses not accepted unless license is expected within a few days)
- Transportation: Reliable transportation and current driver's license required
- Insurance: Agency-required liability insurance required
- Local Candidates: Accepted at the same rate
- Points System: Contractor assigned 5-10 patients per day equating to roughly 6-8 points daily
- Guaranteed Hours: No, but options to float to nearby clinics if patient census is low

Additional Information
- Must complete various compliance, privacy, and policy trainings prior to start
- Required to review and sign multiple facility-specific documents annually if working consecutively for more than one year
- Background checks, drug screening, immunizations, and health documents required per agency standards
- Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate (patient-to-patient travel is billable; commute to/from first and last patient is not)
